All Freemasons are eligible for membership. The rate of subscription shall be £6.00 per annum payable on the first day of January in each year, but the subscription of a member who is a fully paid up member of a Masonic Lodge, Chapter, or any other Degree meeting at 47 St. Giles Street, Norwich, shall be deemed to have been paid by inclusion in his Lodge, Chapter or other Degree subscription.
CLUB AMENITIES
Club amenities include a fully stocked Lounge Bar, Provincial Library and Museum, two Temples and dining rooms, which have also been refurbished. There is also a Garden Room and an attractive private garden area.
All rooms are available to let for functions, other meetings organised by Lodges and meetings of other Orders in the Province and also may be hired for weddings, parties, and meetings of non-Masonic organisations, conferences etc. Ladies Nights’ are proving to be very popular including a set price silver service menu, a disco and also a gift for every lady – please ring Alison on 079498 42587 for further details.
The Club is able to provide in house catering services for all meetings held on the premises. A Justices Conditional On Licence has been granted by the Magistrates, allowing the Club to serve alcoholic beverages to groups meeting at The St Giles’ Rooms and all members of Masonic Lodges meeting within the Province of Norfolk.
The Club is open from Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday by special arrangement) from 6.00 pm until 11.00 pm, or at such times as the Committee shall, from time to time, determine.
The permitted hours for the supply of intoxicating liquor shall be as fixed from time to time by the Licensing Justices and these times must be strictly adhered to.
Certain rooms in this historic and unique building are now licensed for civil weddings. Any member, relation or members of the public wishing to take advantage of having their wedding here should, in the first instance, contact Alison Webb on 079498 42587.
